It is very easy to use and has good sound clarity. Customer Rating: Summary: Can You Hear Me Now? Comment: Recently I upgraded from the Plantronics 220 to the Voyager 510. Unlike the smaller 220, it is definitely larger and you certainly won't forget that you have it on. The power button is not located in the easiest of places either. One must turn it on prior to affixing to the ear. The call button is located on the side for easy access. The wind-screened boom mike is flexible and is a nice addition. Clarity is great while working indoors. The jury is out on the wind/noise cancellation feature. While driving, people still have a hard time hearing me. That also applies when outdoors. Reception away from my cell phone becomes muddled after about 18 feet. Which is great compared to other units that I have operated in the past. Like all Plantronics Bluetooth gear, the 510 programs easily to my phone. Battery life is averaging about 6 hours. Retail outlets including the always overpriced, overrated BestBuy are selling the Voyager 510 for $79.99. As usual Amazon offers it at a better price at $42 bucks. Con: Battery run time is a bit short. It says 6 hours but I think it only lasts for about 4 hours. Customer Rating: Summary: Plantronics blue tooth Comment: I found this product to be just ok. It does the job but the controls aren't placed or sized very well. The earpiece feels much looser than I thought it would be. I have to hold it in place with one hand to be able to hear what the caller is saying. I've put it away in a drawer I don't plan to use it much. Customer Rating: Summary: Great BT headset but keep it dry. Comment: This Bluetooth headset works great with my iPhone but be advised to take it off if your going to get sweaty. I was working in the yard with mine and the sweat dripped onto the power connector and corroded the connections so it would no longer charge. A friend of mine had another problem where his microphone quit working because he got sweat on the mic.
I liked this model so much I bought another one to solve my problem but now I take if off when I might get sweaty.
