Customer Rating: Summary: Not happy Comment: The adaptor seems to work but it's hard to tell because the software for it doesn't do what motorola says it does. Motorola support is non- existant. One of the support people I talked to said she would find out what was wrong and call me back. I never heard from her. I sent email and never was answered. Don't buy anything made by Motorola. Customer Rating: Summary: WORKING WITH WINDOWS VISTA Comment: Believe it or not, I FINALLY GOT THE PC850 to work with windows vista. I can connect to my cell phone and everything! Customer Rating: Summary: Rough around the edges - but useful Comment: Still a new and not-so-user-friendly technology. But if you're fairly tech-savvy and willing to take the time to figure out the bells and whistles, this can be a very useful device if you have many bluetooth enabled products including those not made by motorola. For instance it took some playing around with to figure out how to get it to sync with the palm OS software on my smart phone. It's great for music headphones if you got them. But the catch is you can't listen to music with bluetooth stereo headphone and sync your pda at the same time - the music get very choppy. The software (like some of the other reviewers said) seems it has a lot of bugs with no downloadable drivers from the website. If this is the case I think this should help:

It's a 130MB downloadable ".ZIP" file that (I think) is more updated than what the product comes with. BEWARE it's still not compatible for Vista users. Customer Rating: Summary: PROBABLY A GREAT PRODUCT BUT..... Comment: This is probably a great product but I realized after it finally got to my house and I ripped open the packaging that it doesn't work with WINDOWS VISTA. Motorola has announced it is releasing a new bluetooth adapter with Windows Vista support rather than updating the software for this particular model (PC850). So if you have windows VISTA heed my warning, save yourself the time and the money and get a different model or brand and make sure it is compatible (on the products webpage) before you purchase any product.
