The only times I have had to take it off is during airport security checks and certain sporting events. Otherwise, it stays on me 24/7 with no problems what-so-ever. CON - the hinges on the clasp are very cheap. I've already had to reset the pins in the hinges so that it won't fall apart. And almost every time I take it off I check and have to push the hinge pins back into place.
