It is very close, but not the same plug. So it did not work. Had to return it. I am out shipping costs both ways. The miniUSB port plugs into the phone just like the HTC headset, although the 3.5mm end is a bit tight. You do have to pull out the plug to talk on the phone, since it doesn't have mic input. Overall very useful for playing music on good headphones or speaker systems. Comment: I purchased two more of these adapters after my first one fell apart after a few months of use. One of them works well, but the other cuts out the left channel of the music! A simple connection verification test would have uncovered this issue. Can I have my money back, or a replacement please?
