The brass bristles do a good job of getting burned-on food off and the notched scraper works great on the more stubborn stuff. Quality wooden handle, too. I like Weber's quality, and this brush/scraper is definitely another one of their quality products. Highly recommended. Customer Rating: Summary: Everything it should be Comment: This is my second time buying the identical brush -- we had the last one for several years. It has plenty of brass bristles for good scrubbing without scratching. I don't really use the metal blade scraper, so I can't say yes or no on that. The handle is very well made and sturdy, made of oak, and it's a great length for reaching all the way to the back, and for leverage on tough grill build-up. In another 7 years, I expect to be buying another.
